Gregory Isaacs: Lover’s Rock Pioneer, Reggae Music Legend

Today one of Jamaica’s musical legends Gregory “Cool Ruler” Isaacs passed on and as such we have lost an icon of the music fraternity. Isaacs lost his battle against the deadly disease that is cancer and although October is widely known as Breast Cancer Month, we must not forget all other cancer fighters and survivors. He was a great musical presence and a pioneer that will forever be missed. See my fellow blogger’s tribute to “The Cool Ruler”

    Also Barbados’ PM who died on the weekend because of pancreatic cancer (one of the worst kinds to have).

    Being aware of our bodies and practicing healthy living is key.
