Throw Back Fridays: The Queen
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and while I love Lady Gaga no one can deny the fact that she definitely has some major influence from Madonna, she’s even said so herself. This weeks Throwback Friday comes from Madonna who to me is the Queen of Pop. I’m biased towards this song, never mind the drums at the beginning kinda remind me of tailspin (yes, the cartoon) everything else about it is sultry and, Latin and hot and just makes me want to take a flight to Cuba and … see the sights 😉 . I’m also convinced I was a Latina in another life.
Being Jamaican I cant help but feel “La Isla Bonita” describes my country very well. Hope you enjoy.
