On My Radar: Better Mus Come

Salutations,

I’ve tried writing something witty and funny but I’m really too excited. I cannot wait to do my review come October 13, 2010. Watching the trailer I get a “Harder they Come” kinda vibe. Jamaican cinema hasn’t been non-existent but it definitely has been scarce. Not since “Dancehall Queen” and “Third World Cop” have I felt this type of buzz surrounding a local film. With Jamaica experiencing what it has this year with the Dudus extradition and the change over from an eighteen year government this film is both timely and from the trailer seems eerily on point.
